How Intelligent Automation Can Reduce Energy Waste
Where electricity is typically wasted in homes and businesses, and how measurement and simple rules help you act on it.

Saving electricity starts with a simple question that is surprisingly hard to answer: where does it go? Most households and small businesses know their total bill, but not which circuits or devices are responsible. Automation helps in two ways: it makes consumption visible and it applies rules so that avoidable use stops by itself.
Step one: measure
Energy meters installed at the electrical panel can record consumption per circuit, for example air conditioning, water heating, lighting and sockets. A dashboard then shows patterns over time. Often the first useful discovery is a load that was running when nobody needed it.
Step two: act with simple rules
- Turn lights off in rooms that have been empty for a set time.
- Relax or switch off air conditioning when a window is opened or a room is vacant.
- Schedule water heating or other flexible loads for sensible times.
- Notify you when consumption is unusual, which can point to a fault.
Be realistic about results
How much you can reduce depends on your habits, equipment and building. We do not promise a fixed percentage; instead we measure first, so decisions are based on your own data, and we improve the rules after you have lived with them for a while.
Comfort comes first
A system that makes a home uncomfortable will be switched off by the people who live there. Good rules are gentle: they remove waste without being noticed.
